Hehe, I'm in the parents' house in the home town now, and actually found that tie - I may even try to use it (like next time I TA or something) XD

Huh, what you had to say about Glee was very interesting. Don't worry about having talked a lot - part of making friends on these sites is sticking through people's nerdy chat. Right. Anyway, I like some of the cover versions of songs that they do on Glee, and considered tuning in as it sounds like a cute premise in some ways. That really sucks about the shoddy writing though, especially if they underdevelop characters or storylines - like having a "very special episode" about the almost suicide of a gay kid yet never referencing that again despite other characters saying they'll support him. Huh.

To be honest, I've been watching a lot of British telly lately, where they seem to do short seasons (like 8-13 episodes a la Life on Mars or Who and Torchwood) and possibly shorter runs but they do them well. What you said about them cranking out lots and lots of Glee episodes with no logical plan or organization or editing sounds like the opposite problem...
